Description
A handmade foraging bag for your next outdoor adventure. Made using deadstock canvas and off-cut leather.
We like to use materials that other people think are a waste. So, our foldable foraging bags are made in the UK from deadstock cotton canvas that has been sewn with hidden seams and waterproofed with our own beeswax mix. The veg-tan leather has been sourced from industry off-cuts, hand-stitched using cotton fibre, then finished with natural oils and sealed with beeswax.
Embossed with a retro line art mushroom. We custom design and make our own stamps to emboss the designs.
Measuring 10 cm x 11 cm x 4 cm when folded, these bags open to approximately 20 cm x 25 cm when open. With a leather drawstring for quick closure, these bags come equipped with a 4.5 cm belt loop. They can be easily carried on your belt or in your pocket or backpack.
As much as possible, our bag is made from sustainable and natural materials, so tones, shape, and colour may differ slightly. The veg tan we use is a waste product from the leather industry and may have been discarded due to the natural marks on the animal’s hide. We think these scratches and stretches reflect the organic patina of the animal, a patina that will develop over the lifetime of the product to give a beautiful finish.
